About
I received my Diplom (roughly a research master's) in theoretical physics from the University of Hamburg, was a visiting student fellow at the Minnesota Center for Philosophy of Science on a Fulbright scholarship and a graduate student in the Philosophy department at the University of Western Ontario. I am now a PhD researcher in the Theoretical Philosophy Unit at Utrecht University. My dissertation has been accepted without revisions by my committee, and I will defend on the 18th of June 2012 (which in Utrecht is a formality). I work on philosophical methodology, foundations of philosophy of science, empirical significance, intertheoretical relations, and the history of logical empiricism.
